I'm offering to write a meaty one-shot or a moderately chaptered fic, whichever the bidder prefers and what works best for the story they want. I would love to hear the bidder's prompt up front with as many details as they think are important to receiving the story they want. We'd discuss the broad strokes of a story that fulfills the prompt, including me asking clarifying questions. Then I'd write a story summary and get approval for that before moving forward with actual writing. For FR: I don't want to write about the old beastclans lore, and in general am less interested in them than in dragons.

Other notes:
My genre comfort zone is folk, country, and a little bit of blues or very soft rock/pop. I'm okay with writing new words for existing tunes, but if that's what you want I'd prefer you reach out ahead of time to make sure it's a song I'm okay messing with.

If you're up for it, I love collaboration, and brainstorming! While I don't need constant communication, I enjoy bouncing ideas back and forth and at least would like to check in occasionally and make sure we're both on the same page. Please make sure you have permission to podfic from the author - I will need to see it. Non-english language media (C-drama, etc) may be more tricky due to unfamiliarity with names. I don't generally do accent work. I'm happy to keep in touch as I work on the project. I prefer to get started as soon as possible. Winning bid wordcount can be broken up among up to three projects. I will provide at least a default cover image with the relevant text, but the complexity and quality will vary depending on my personal inspiration and interest. I'm open to adding music but that is not a guarantee and will vary on inspiration.

Fanwork Details:
For Beta reading: I can provide feedback on all aspects of the writing process including spelling and grammar, plot development, pacing and characterization (if I am familiar with the character/fandom). Multiple rounds of beta reading will be available if necessary.

For Typesetting: I can create a typeset of any fic or public domain work (or a series of shorter works) up to 200k words including custom title page and color fanart (if permissions are given). The typeset can be folio, quarto, or octavo. The bidder will receive both a straight and imposed pdf ready for printing.

For sensitivity reading: I am aromantic, asexual, and nonbinary/agender and can provide feedback on depictions of characters that share those identities.

For Specialty Expertise: I can provide information on Forensic Science, Mortuary Science, depictions of a dead body, and overall crime scene analysis procedure.

Relevant experience/background:
For Beta Reading: I have been a beta reader and freelance editor for five years working on stories of various lengths including short stories, novel length fiction and nonfiction. I have worked with both original fiction and fandom works.

For Typesetting: I have been doing bookbinding for four years and have typeset and bound several dozen books both for myself and others.

For Specialty Expertise: I have Master's degrees in both Forensic Science and Biomedical Sciences. I currently work in a funeral home. I have spent two years attending various crime scenes/death scenes while working with the County Coroner's office as a removal technician.

Unwilling to address:
While I am willing to work with any pairing or genre, I would prefer not to offer beta reading for explicit/NSFW fics (a couple explicit scenes in a larger work is fine), though I am willing to do sensitivity reading for such works if they include an aromantic and/or asexual character.

Other Notes:
For Beta reading and Sensitivity reading I primarily work with Google docs and Elipsus, but I am open to using other programs if requested. If I am unfamiliar with the source material please provide context so I can give the best feedback.
